The purpose for Nursery at the Capital Church is to provide a clean, safe and constructive environment for children ages 0-3 years old during all services. It is necessary to provide an exceptional nursery whereby every parent can participate in the worship service while having the assurance that their child is receiving the proper attention they deserve.
Nursery Service Coverage:
Sunday School: 9:45-10:30
Sunday Morning Worship: 10:45-close of service
First Sunday Evening Service: 6:00-close of service
Wednesday Evening: 7:15-Close of service
Special Services: 15 minutes prior to beginning-close of service.
We offer two well staffed nurseries:
Infant Nursery: Birth to 14 months (or walking)
Toddler Nursery: 14 months through 36 months (or potty trained)
Curriculum:
The nursery uses Group Publishing Curriculum as well as video presentations for Praise & Worship, and lesson planning.
Snacks:
The toddler nursery is stocked with snacks for your child to enjoy while service is in progress. Infants who are in the snacking stage receive cereal as well.
Parent E-news: Parents can receive e-news about upcoming events, and lesson plans for their child.
Nursery service: There is always a place for parents to volunteer in the nursery. There are both classroom and offsite positions available.
